Alquimia (alchemy in English) comes from the latin word alkimia, which originates from the quest for the philosopher’s stone, aimed at transforming elements. To us, Alquimia is all about transformation. It is about the physical transformation of this land, making it a beautiful and comfortable place for one to live in while respecting its history. And it is also about the mental, emotional and spiritual transformation this space has on us. Coming home is an opportunity to experience nature, an opportunity to stop our busy lives and stargaze, feel the breeze coming from the hills and take in the breathtaking views, feeling grateful for being here, now.

We are a couple, João & Miguel, with our two dogs, Sirius and Lira - a Golden Retriever and a Great Dane - living in Casa Alquimia. You will find your home to be fully private also with your own terrace to enjoy. Also we will be right next door if you need anything.
